Technically speaking, you need 3 things to have a website.
Domain Name
This is your www.yourbusinessname.com address. You may already own one, you may require it to be purchased for you. In either case it is not a problem. Domain names typically cost around 20Eur per annum but can cost up to 60 or 70Eur if you are buying with 'unusual' extensions. Do not let the domain name extensions fool you, your website is accessible from anywhere in the world no matter what the extension is.
Web Hosting
Web hosting is basically where your website is stored. Our preferred supplier, Firebird Hosting, provide great hosting services from secure facilities and can offer you with email services as part of the package. We can arrange this for you and even help you set up your email. If you already have a hosting package, this should not be a problem but would need to inspect the software used to see if it is compatible with our design format. We DO NOT recommend the use of free hosting services for your business! Web Hosting typically costs around 80Eur per annum.
Web Site
You've decided your business needs a website. But why? The first thing you need to determine is what you expect your website to do for you. Do you want to showcase your work? Are you looking to sell products on-line? Are you looking to take on-line bookings? The purpose of your website is important. Not only because it gives you a better understanding of how you are going to utilise it to it's full potential but it allows us to give you a quicker turnaround in terms of a quote and a final product.
We build your site on a development server and once you are happy with the results we switch it on and within seconds you website is open for the world to see.
The cost of a websitecan vary significantly depending on your requirements. It's a good idea to have a budget in mind and if it is a big factor advise us so we can offer you a number of options to suite your budget.
